An important incident during this time was death of His
Majesty Ananda Mahidol on June 9 1946, where, after he proposed

to the congress to invite Prince Bhumibol Adulyadej to ascend the
throne, Mr. Pridi resigned from his post as the prime minister.

Mahidol had lead to another coup, which was organized by “The
Coup Group”. As a result, the Constitution, dated May 9 1946, was

event, as it concluded the roles and works of Khana Ratsadon for the
            last 15 years.
The thing that is named as ‘the Vicious Cycle’ hence
haunted Thai politics from here on. And it must be emphasized that,
as a result of the coup on November 8 1947, any and all political

neither related to nor the result of the Great Revolution, between
1932 and 1933, by Khana Ratsadon at all.

Studying of facts from this Coup d’etat clearly revealed
the intention for Mr. Pridi’s life, therefore, the target of this Coup
d’etat clearly had to f ee to other country. But on February 26 1949,

Mr. Pridi returned to Thailand and led ‘the Democratic Movement’
into a f ght, in order to restore the regime under Constitution,
dated May 9 1946, back one more time. However, they were
