Pertaining to the foreword of the Administrative Law
Book, from the f rst teacher, which was written after 1932, this was
an important evidence of this case; where part of it read.
“…description of Administrative Law that I
gave herein was also related to the history of the Great
Revolution, the change of regime from Absolute Monarchy
to Constitutional Monarchy under the. That is, in 1932, the
very year of the Great Revolution, I’ve been appointed by
the Ministry of Justice to become a teacher of Administrative
Law, a new subject that had been added into the curriculum
of the Law School. During that opportunity, I’ve taught and
cultivated many students so that their interests shift toward
democracy, which, in terms of economy, is the foundation of
any society; whereas the law is only superf cial structure of
such society…”

History of ‘The Insurgency of the year 130 of
the Rattanakosin Era’ (1912) as an Expensive
Lesson
Mr. Pridi recorded the prosecutions of those military
personnel, who promoted the 1912 Insurgency as follows: “…during
the prosecution in front of the special military committee, the
judge reproached a royal guard for his disloyalty to the King,
the accused bravely explained to the judge that he loved the
country more than the king. And as he had opportunity to
work closest with the King than other person, he knew things
that happened in the Royal Court better than any soldier and
citizen. Therefore, once he realized that all gleeful and non
